The mission of American Trade School is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment in their prospective field of training.
American Trade School is a technical school with an educational objective to train students for entrance and advancement in the HVAC and Electrical trades. First and foremost, our programs are designed to enable students to achieve maximum development and personal potential to begin employment in the trades. ATS is employer-centered and fully committed to giving full attention and effort to the development of our students’ skills. With this in mind, we view employers as our customers and students as our products. As a result, we continually seek educational partnerships within the industry and believe that communication between schools and employers is essential for success. We have an obligation to the industry to produce a quality product. Specifically, our HVAC program is recognized by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, St. Louis Chapter and the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.
Admissions, training, and placement assistance procedures are designed to develop a student’s interests, attitude, and abilities, so that he/she becomes a skilled and successful employee.
Overall, ATS seeks students who have the ambition and drive to complete their training and also achieve success in their chosen field. Our training goal is to provide the basic skills, techniques, and procedures required by the HVAC and Electrical industries. Higher-level technical skills are also offered to qualified students.
In conclusion, the skills and work attitudes taught at American Trade School are of practical use to students. They ensure successful adjustment to their chosen field. Our requirements for graduation are demanding.
